Yes, I went to the dessert. I finally got the chance to visit to of my friends in Dubei and Abu Dhabi and I have to tell there are so many architectural Wonders in the Emirates that you hardly get the chance to notice most of them ;-) But still my trip to the outside city was at least as interesting.
